Royal Barges National Museum is a completely unique museum in Thailand that has on showcase Royal Barges that had been used in Royal Barge Processions and kingdom ceremonies. Most of the opulent barges are inside the form of well-known legendary creatures from the Ramayana epic. Some of the barges inside the museum are greater than two hundred years vintage and were built during the reign of King Rama I.
The barges are fabricated from high nice wood. Gold leaves, difficult designs and vivid colours shape the ornament of the barges. The most mind-blowing of all is the 46-meter-long Suphannahong royal barge which is inside the form of a mystical swan. It also capabilities on the emblem of Tourism Authority of Thailand. There are three more barges which might be equally fantastic - Ananta Nagaraj with naga -form figurehead, Narai Song Suban proposing Lord Rama on a garuda figurehead and Anekchat Puchong.
